hi, I'm Whitney (she/her)

JD | C-FSD (BADT) | C-CBE (BADT)

It is my belief and experience that birth + postpartum are sacred rites of passage. One of my greatest joys is to help you prepare for them with intention and care. You deserve to thrive!

I left my legal career shortly after the birth of my first child and eventually followed my heart into birthwork. My goals: to make a difference in my community through accessible personal support and reproductive justice advocacy.

I am Michigan born and raised, and I spent the twenty years following my degree at MSU in Southern California. I trained in and founded my business in Los Angeles, and I draw on my unique experiences and opportunities to offer you something previously unavailable in Southwest Michigan.

I am a two-time apprentice of esteemed author and educator Britta Bushnell, PhD and certified as a childbirth educator and full-spectrum doula by Birthing Advocacy Doula Trainings.

Currently, I serve as a Mentor for Britta Bushnell's Apprenticeship for Perinatal Professionals and offer in-person and online classes not available anywhere else
